Adecco is currently helping our client find Entry/Mid-Level, Long-Term Career Opportunities in Greendale, Indiana. These are all Temp-to-Hire Positions with a career path!

Job title: Production Technician

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for safe, quality-focused completion of assigned tasks.

· Basic equipment care, including thorough cleaning and inspection.

· Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of area and all equipment and supplies.

· Assists with the safe, efficient changeover of packaging lines.

· Ensures all necessary packaging materials and supplies are on-hand prior to starting production.

· Promptly reports all equipment malfunctions to leadership.

· Observes and follows all safety procedures.

· Uses all required PPE while on production floor.

· Observes and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and Food Quality Plan (FQP).

· Takes responsibility for producing high quality product in each step of production.

· Participates in all necessary training that is required to successfully perform job responsibilities and increase effectiveness.

Work Environment:

· Most areas are climate-controlled year-round.

· Workers are near moving mechanical parts and caution must be observed.

· Noise Level is moderate to loud.

Physical Demands:

· Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

· Worker is required regualry to stand, walk, use hands, stoop, kneel, talk or hear.

Qualifications:

· Education/experience : High school diploma or equivalent.

· Math ability : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

· Language ability : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to other employees of the organization.

· Reasoning ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

· Technical skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess knowledge of basic computer processing and mechanical functioning.

Currently Available Shifts:

· 1st - 6:00am to 6:00pm (M-F), No Weekends Starting Pay : $ 19.50/hr

· 3rd - 6:00pm to 6:00am (M-F), No Weekends Starting Pay : $20.50/hr +Shift Differential

· Weekend: 6:00pm to 6:00am (F-Su), 36 hour - PAID for 40 Starting Pay : $22.50/hr +Shift Differential

Pay Details: $19.50 to $22.50 per hour
