SLR International Corporation Senior Technician in Fort Collins, Colorado

Synopsis

SLR International Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Technician with at least 5 years of previous experience in source testing, continuous emission monitoring, and ambient/meteorological instrumentation, to join our growing Fort Collins operations.

This position will help manage and support current air measurements and monitoring programs, emission measurements, and ambient and meteorological monitoring, with a broad range of field projects and emerging technologies. This hourly position requires an onsite presence at our Fort Collins, Colorado office and offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing international environmental consulting organization.

Required Technical Skills and Experience

5 or more years of experience in source testing, continuous emission monitoring, and ambient/meteorological instrumentation High school diploma or GED required Vocational degree or credentials in Technology or related area of study, or commensurate work experience Safety training (e.g., OSHA, MSHA) Electrical and mechanical knowledge Spreadsheet calculation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of Chemistry basics Understanding of consulting business and best practices Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software (Excel, Word, etc.) Valid driver's license and ability to travel by airplane and car throughout the U.S. Ability to safely and comfortably work at heights and lift heavy objects Personal Attributes and Traits

Detail oriented, strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills Troubleshooting and problem-solving proficiency Self-motivated and willing to learn and grow as a consultant Willing and eager to learn new skills Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Excellent time management skills Ability to interface with clients and internal stakeholders Responsibilities

Support emission measurements and ambient/meteorological monitoring programs Assist with current and near-term ambient and meteorological source testing projects Apply electrical and mechanical knowledge to field work assignments Participate in a variety of field assignments Work with clients from a variety of industries Operate ambient/meteorological measurement and testing instruments Prepare reports, spreadsheets, test results, and other work products as requested Physical Demands

Field work and travel are a key part of this position. With or without reasonable accommodation, employees are expected to perform the following activities:
