Farmingdale State College Part-Time Instructional Support Assistant - Biology in Farmingdale, New York

The Biology department is currently seeking part-time Instructional Support Assistants to assist in the laboratories. Responsibilities will include setting up laboratory equipment and materials prior to a laboratory session, preparing solutions and cultures as needed, cleaning glassware, assisting faculty and/or students during laboratory sessions, and cleaning up after the laboratory session is over.

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in instructional laboratory management of biology courses
