CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Mobile Technician to join the team located in Dublin. The successful candidate will undertake planned, reactive maintenance and project work over a number of sites which will be allocated upon geographic area, including undertaking of routine maintenance and reactive calls.

Key Tasks

  • Planned maintenance to numerous Petrol Station activities, to include: electrical maintenance, minor projects, illumination re-lamp and valet, as well as minor building fabric on a number of UK service stations

  • Undertake the co-ordination of works carried out by specialist and/or sub-contractors.

  • Provide support and assistance to other MT’s, especially in the areas of technical awareness or experience

  • Regular liaison with customer – Area Managers, Engineers, Retailers and Site staff.

  • Regular liaison with the Call Centre ensuring they are kept fully up to date

  • Regular liaison with the MT Field Team, your respective supervisor and relevant ROM.

  • Regularly update work order database and other key administrative duties

  • To have an understanding and appreciation of our customer’s business

  • Plan and carry out work in a safe, cost effective manner in line with our customer’s business procedures

  • To ensure CBRE and HSSE policies are adhered to at all times

  • To be aware and observe any opportunity i.e. new products, improved working methods to reduce costs and improve standards and ensure those ideas are shared with the team

  • Produce reports / photographs on any problems or issues supported by recommendations for improvement / rectification

Essential

Desirable

Education

  • Full clean driving licence

  • 18th Edition IEE time-served Electrician

  • City & Guilds Installation (or equivalent)

  • ACOP’s Plumbing

Skills

  • Ability to identify faults in equipment accurately and quickly when under pressure by applying logical thinking, coupled with past experience

  • IT literate

Knowledge

  • Good appreciation of Health and Safety issues

  • Understands the basic principles of what represents excellent customer service

Experience

  • Strong proven experience in maintaining equipment in one or more of the following areas;

  • Fabric / Building works

  • Electrical / Lighting

  • Good all round DIY skills

  • Used to regular interface with a diverse customer base

  • Used to working as both an individual and of a team

  • Refrigeration / air conditioning experience
