Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst - Senior Principal Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Devens, MA. The role will be onsite and will support our AOA Xinetics (AOX) Business Unit.

Job duties and responsibilities, will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Create financial forecasts budget and provide regular budget forecast updates

  • Analyze actual costs to budgets and forecasts

  • Assist with consolidation of all other FP&A metrics for Management review

  • Support and perform ad-hoc what if modeling and reporting

  • Audit support with the government DCMA/DCAA

  • Making recommendations for change to optimize the profitability of the company

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Knowledge: Broad knowledge with techniques in collecting data, analyzing information, generating reports

  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify problems or gaps in the financial or modeling systems, solve problems in a creative manner, and implement opportunities for improvement

  • Modeling skills: Must be able to implement complex modeling tools to improve the financial performance of the organization

  • Organizational and time management skills: Must be able to work within time constraints while managing multiple priorities

  • Communication skills: Must possess great oral and written communication skills to effectively execute job responsibilities

  • Collaborative skills: Must be able to work together with people from different units as required to help them address financial or system issues

  • Project management skills: Should have the ability to accomplish projects working with and through others including consistently documenting procedures to address problems

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience - OR - Master's degree with 8+ years of related experience

  • Experience to include FP&A (financial planning and analysis), rates and budgets experience

  • An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree

  • Advanced MS Excel experience to include data analysis, pivot tables, or Index(Match) functionality

  • US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing or other business-related area

  • Microsoft Excel Expert Certification or Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate Certification

  • Experience with TM1 Perspective or other forecasting software

  • CAS and FAR knowledge

  • Cognos TM1 Planning Analytics, Cognos Reports and Costpoint experience

  • Current, active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance

Salary Range: $109,900 - $164,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
