Modernization Integration / Systems Engineer

KBR is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a focus on integration to lead the coordination of F-22 modernization initiatives with our test management team. This role demands exceptional technical expertise to ensure the seamless alignment of upgrades with rigorous testing protocols. Must possess strong understanding of complex systems and the ability to bridge development and testing phases effectively. Experience in the defense/aerospace sector is highly preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Driving collaborative integration and ensuring Test is considered in all phases of capability development and verification

• Assess and evaluate work arounds for Test and Evaluation (T&E) watch items, system defect and risk factors

• Translate requirements to support T&E planning efforts

• Advise on the standup of software testing infrastructure to include modeling and simulation for test and verification purposes

• Support all capability requirements sell-off for all Hardware and Software development on F-22

• Develop and witness demonstrations of Weapon System capability integration in the hardware-in-the-loop labs

• Authoring and maintaining test and verification statements for all F-22 Modernization Capability Requirements

• Strong understanding of system engineering and application of system engineering practices

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BS / BA in any Engineering or Engineering related field is required, MS/MA in Engineering related field is highly desired

• Understanding of System Engineering and Defense Acquisitions and direct experience working with OEM Contractors and Test Customers

• 10 years' experience to include minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.

  CLEARANCE : Secret (TS preferred) with ability to obtain SAP Access
