DXC Technology Pre Sales / Sales Engineering Executive - Cloud & Infrastructure in Dallas, Texas

Summary

As the pre-sales / sales engineering lead for Cloud and Infrastructure Services at DXC, you will actively support revenue growth and market expansion initiatives undertaken by the sales teams. The role is responsible for shaping and driving strategic pre-sales activities with the markets and our partners to develop high-value capabilities across the business and geographies. Understands market and service offerings and delivers outcomes that drive business results. Partners with sales leads and professionals in the offering and the market to drive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities include:

Pre-Sales Expertise:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive pre-sales strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives, focusing on driving revenue growth in cloud and infrastructure services.

  • Identify target markets, segments, and verticals, and develop tailored approaches to penetrate and expand our market share.

  • Work closely with C&I global sales leader to execute long-term strategic plans and initiatives for growth of cloud and infrastructure services.

Sales Pipeline Support:

  • Support the sales pipeline as required, constantly evaluating and adjusting strategies to accommodate varied sales cycle demands.

  • Implement best practices for Pre Sales, ensuring consistent progress towards sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives.

  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions that address their specific requirements and deliver measurable business value.

Market Analysis:

  • Understand emerging trends, customer preferences, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.

  • Use market insights to align sales strategies and go-to-market plans.

Sales Enablement:

  • Drive sales enablement programs, including training, tools, and resources, to equip the sales team with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.

  • Continuously educate customers and sales team by developing and maintaining an expert-level knowledge of products, pricing, and market differentiators.

Team Leadership:

  • Where needed, mentor and inspire a high-performing pre-sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and collective success.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.

  • Establish key performance metrics and sales targets for the cloud and infrastructure services division, and monitor progress against goals.

  • Analyze sales data, pipeline metrics, and other KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Typically, 12+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 4+ years in a similar role

  • Proven track record of success in pre-sales and sales enablement

  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, as well as experience with leading cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.

  • Proficiencies in sales strategy development, customer relationship management, and market analysis

  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
