College of Arts and Sciences – Psychology Department

The Department of Psychology at the University of Miami invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible, or tenure-track faculty member to join our department’s Adult Division in August 2024. The specific area is open. Area(s) of focus could include, but are not limited to, basic research on affect, cognitive science, and/or mechanistic studies related to mental health or the impact of disparities. We also welcome outstanding scholars with expertise in one or more of the following methods, including lab-based experimental, neurophysiological, computational, and/or mobile health/digital phenotyping. Individuals with interests in data science, including advanced quantitative techniques, big data, and machine learning are also encouraged to apply.

Applications will be considered at Assistant Professor and Associate Professor level. The appointment is expected to start on August 15, 2024. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. (clinical or non-clinical) by the appointment start date.
