The School of Theology and Seminary (SOT/Sem) at Saint John s University invites applications for the full-time (1.0 FTE), benefit-eligible position of Associate Director of Admission for Recruitment. This position serves as member of the SOT/Sem Admissions team and participates in implementing the overall strategic direction for annual and long-term enrollment. The Associate Director is primarily responsible for recruiting students for graduate theological study, building a recruitment network, and sustaining strong levels of application inquiries. The Associate Director reports to the Director of Admission and collaborates with Admission Team to increase the school s visibility on college campuses, in volunteer programs, and throughout the United States, particularly in Catholic parishes and dioceses. Responsibilities Implement the SOT/Sem s recruitment plan for prospective students with emphasis on generating inquiries to the point of application. Promote SOT/Sem degree programs with potential students, especially undergraduate college students, post-year of service/volunteer participants, and young adult groups. Maintain and expand upon a strong and consistent recruitment network and represent the SOT/Sem at appropriate venues such as conferences, college campuses, volunteer network gatherings, ministry conventions, and other settings that build the school s network and offer opportunities to generate inquiries. Generate inquiries and maintain personal contact with potential students. Follow-up with students using current contact management methods. Develop and implement a robust webinar series to aid in student discernment and drive inquiries and matriculations to online degree programs. Work in close contact with the Admissions team and Dean of the SOT/Sem to meet specific numeric goals for inquiries and applications. Support the Admissions team in the development and implementation of using social media to support admission inquiries.
