We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform various machining operations, primarily turning operations, on metal workpieces. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

salary: $50,000 - $75,000 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 4:15 PM - 12:45 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathe machines according to job specifications.

• Load workpieces into the machine and secure them properly.

• Select and install appropriate cutting tools.

• Program machines using G-code or other programming languages.

• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.

• Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines as required.

• Troubleshoot issues and make repairs as necessary.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
