Today, we are recruiting for a Consortium Site Quality Manager to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Set up and maintain local Quality Management System according to SIEMENS Quality Standards.

• Control non-conformance both externally and internally; Initiate, implement, and verify corrective actions as needed.

• Fulfill transparent quality reporting and communication in general.

• Maintain supplier audits & internal audits to discover opportunities for improvement.

• Regular quality reporting, driving the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) relevant for the respective project phases. In this way, you provide an overview of the current project status and identify critical situations at an early stage.

• Create, moderate, and drive the implementation of quality assurance measures (Root cause analyses, lessons Learned).

• Issue and approve requests for deviation/waivers.

• Visit the site approximately 20-30 percent monthly.

• Participate in project gate reviews.

• Ensure effective collaboration & communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Safety rules and regulations, firefighting, fire prevention, and first aid.

• Establish detailed quality project plans and metrics, work plans, and status reports.

• Ensure effective collaboration & communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Advise and/or conduct quality-related methodology/tools (risk management, identify and conduct relevant lessons learned, quality gates, NC management, root cause analyses, etc.).

• Monitor the quality of all the components and services to be provided according to the customer requirements, ensuring that the necessary quality inspections are carried out during the execution to guarantee that final quality is according to specifications.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the designated professions, with preferably three or more years of relevant experience in the transport industry.

• Solid quality and safety management experience in electrical, and mechanical Domain.

• Railway system work experience is a plus.

• Experience in working with a multinational company.

• Solid work experience in railway projects in the field of QM and EHS

• Practical knowledge of ISO standards 9001, 14001, and 45001 is highly appreciated.

• Proven track records and work experience in quality management

• Very good knowledge of Egypt's different regions.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English.

• Advanced level of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
