Western Kentucky University is seeking candidates for a nine-month, non-tenure eligible faculty appointment in the Interior Design Program within the Department of Applied Human Sciences for the 2024-2025 academic year. This is renewable for up to three years. This appointment may either be at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor if the successful candidate holds a doctorate/terminal degree (M.Arch, M.F.A.) or at the rank of Visiting Instructor if the successful candidate holds a Master of Science or Master of Art in the same or similar field.

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate must be proficient on AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Revit, and other technology.

  • Must hold either a M.Arch, M.F.A., M.S., or M.A.

  • ABD will be considered if the degree will be conferred within one year of appointment.
