What You Will Achieve
Join our newly established Earned Media and Partnerships Organization within our Chief Marketing Office to define strategies and activations for earned media across our business: You will:
Partner with brand teams and corporate affairs across Pfizer's commercial organization to develop strategies and activations for earned media leveraging capabilities from the CMO center of excellence
Orchestrate integrated planning process and execution of modern earned media strategies
Sit with cross functional teams to activate earned media plans across key therapeutic areas and tie back to systems and tools of the Chief Marketing Office
Background in healthcare a plus
Comfort in navigating paid, earned, owned
How You Will Achieve It
Responsibility for creating effective earned media strategies and activations in partnership with cross-functional team to drive brand or therapeutic awareness, engagement and audience action
Understand the earned media landscape within the health or pharmaceutical space and have a clear point of view on how to navigate effectively based on the brief
Work in close partnership with our media planning team to bring synergies or amplification of their ideas on behalf of the brand
Identify gaps and opportunities in earned media plans and recommend solutions
Help to fine-tune measurement plan for earned media to demonstrate consistent value
Focus on digital and social communications to drive therapeutic area / brand awareness and visibility
In partnership with the Influencer center of excellence, activate influencer programs specific to therapeutic areas
Partner with our corporate affairs team, media planning team and brand teams to plan and activate integrated earned plans and programs
Collaborate with and lead agency and vendor partners for execution of earned activations
Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines for earned in the pharmaceutical space
Have an up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, platforms and best practices for earned media campaigns
This highly visible role will be a key member of the Earned Media and Partnerships team; partnering closely with cross-functional team members across the Chief Marketing Organization, Corporate Affairs and Brand teams
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of earned experience either in-house or at the agency setting
Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing and listening tools
Strong examples of past work executing end-to-end earned campaigns
Strong project management skills
Growth mindset and ability to build something new in a white space
Excellent written skills
Strong understanding of the legal and compliance regulations in the pharmaceutical / health marketing space
Experience working with organizations going through transformations is a plus
Compelling communication skills
Aptitude for convincing others (internally and externally) of the value of their ideas
Exceptional interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrix environment
Must be able to both drive strategy and execute with speed and high quality

Executive presence and ability to interact and influence effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong communication skills with ability to articulate and optimize design based on the value to user and business

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. - The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $105,500.00 to $175,900.00.
