As aSwim Instructorat our YMCA, you'll have the opportunity to help students learn to swim in a fun and safe environment.

In this role, you can look forward to:

• Delivering high-quality, safe swimming lessons that ensure every moment in the water counts toward our students' learning and water exploration.
• Implementing the YMCA Swim Lessons curriculum to make a positive impact on our students' lives by teaching and modeling water skills, water safety, and fitness.
• Collaboratingwith our Lifeguards to set up the pool area for lessons and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Keeping student records, following the guidance of the Swim Lessons Coordinator.
• Following a well-structured lesson plan for each session.

The First International Bank and Trust Family Splash Center at the YMCA opened in April 2019. The warm water, renovatedpool will offerwater slidesand play features, swim lessons, fitness classes and lap swim, therapeutic jets for hydro therapy, and Birthday Party program and space.
