Summary:

Our personal injury law firm is seeking a Director of Client Intake to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a personal injury law firm in the client/case intake department and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. As a Director of Client Intake, you will be responsible for managing client inquiries, conducting initial consultations, and ensuring a smooth transition for clients into our firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Inquiry Management: Respond to client inquiries via phone or email promptly and professionally.

  • Initial Consultations: Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to gather essential information regarding their case and explain legal processes.

  • Case Evaluation: Evaluate potential cases based on criteria provided by attorneys and make recommendations regarding case acceptance.

  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the intake process, providing updates and answering any questions they may have.

  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, case details, and intake process progress.

  • Coordination: Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff members to ensure a seamless transition for clients into the firm.

  • Follow-up: Conduct follow-up communications with potential clients to collect additional information and provide updates on case evaluations.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all client interactions and documentation.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a personal injury law firm in the client/case intake department

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts to clients.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Empathy and Professionalism: Ability to demonstrate empathy towards clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.

  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining client records and documentation.

  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using legal case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software applications.

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.

  • Certification in legal studies or paralegal studies is a plus.
