We are looking to expand our saw filing team. A successful candidate will have 3 - 5 years of experience and will beresponsible for the safe maintenance and repair of all saw filing equipment and will bring your skills to maximize uptime, quality and production. This is a position that uses communication and troubleshooting skills to keep our sawmill running at peak performance.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Examine saws for defects
• Fixes defects and sharpens blades
• Brazes or welds cracks
• Straightens twists and kinks
• Uses straightening press and hammers
• Adjusts cutting width of teeth
• Ability to compute number and angle of teeth to specification
• Ability to us saw-filing machinery
• Other duties as assigned
