Career Coaching - Provide individual and group career coaching in the areas of job search skills, negotiation, and career management. Conduct workshops, presentations, and other career coaching activities to increase student success in networking, resume and portfolio building, interviewing, and other activities that enhance student and alumni success in the internship and job search process. Work with students to develop personalized career plans.Career and Professional Development Program Management - Serve as implementation and operational lead for all phases of an advanced career development program and delivery of professional career services. Develop programming and execute general workshops and career fairs. In conjunction with leadership and other career management colleagues, build out robust career services strategic plan and implement. Provide career search strategies and assistance to students and alumni seeking internships and professional positions. Serve as implementation and operational lead for Career and Professional Development Programs by executing the career and professional development portfolio. Lead on-campus employment process including student resources, search strategies, and a database of open opportunities. Employer Relations Lead - Serves as employer relations co-lead with director, focusing on outreaching to new employers and increasing employer connections and database. Provide excellent customer service to all external inquiries from potential employers. Build and maintain updated employer relations pipeline and database. Create and implement a robust employer outreach and communications plan to keep employers informed and excited about LBJ. Hold company information sessions, meet-and-greets and other recruiting events. Collaborate on the development and execution of an annual career fair.Student Supervision - Supervises graduate student employees and career/professional development student ambassadors including recruiting students and training students.Marketing - Leads marketing efforts to increase awareness of career and professional development events and resources. Alumni Mentorship Programs - lead alumni mentorship program in collaboration with alumni relations office. Career Outcomes Data - Lead data collection and dissemination process, including career outcomes, career program evaluation, and student needs assessments. Orientation and Summer Programming - Collaborate with director and student affairs staff to coordinate new student orientation, summer yield events pertaining to career and professional development, and other new student onboarding activities. Other related functions as assigned.
