Track progress and revise as needed * Meet mandatory continuing education requirements * Plan and provide appropriate treatment for neuro-muscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders based on medical referral and therapy assessment * Assist and instruct patients and families in transfer techniques appropriate to patient abilities. Instruct patients and families on the use of equipment, such as walkers, wheelchairs, canes, etc., in a safe manner. Utilize appropriate therapy equipment specific to patient diagnosis and needs * Promote company mission and administrative policies to ensure the quality of care Requirements:  * Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association-approved program * Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist * Current Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation * One year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting. Pediatric experience required * Effective interpersonal relations and communication skills * Knowledge of durable medical equipment * Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally * Able to work in a patient's home in various conditions * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality * Proof of current CPR certification * Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and standing.
