Description of Duties:

Under the direction of the Director and Principal Investigator of Liberty Partnerships Program(LPP), the Assistant Director(AD) will support the strategic planning and guidance of the project through program completion. The AD will engage in program development, delivery and implementation. The AD will supervise graduate/undergraduate student staff members and assist the Director and other program staff with daily operations of LPP as needed. The AD will interface with cooperating schools and community-based organizations. The AD will assist with the recruitment and retention of program participants. The AD will work collaboratively with the Director to assess program goals and outcomes, making programmatic recommendations as needed. The AD will support data entry for required State Education documentation. The AD will be responsible for Liberty Partnerships Program social media accounts and marketing materials.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization in a related field such as education, social welfare, human services, psychology, etc.

  • Minimum two (2) years' experience working with at-risk youth in community-based programs.

  • Minimum one (1) year administrative or supervisory experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Access to reliable transportation to travel regularly and transport educational materials to collaborating schools, including travel to areas that may not be served by public transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization in a relevant field preferred.

  • Experience collaborating with community partners.

    Additional Information:

Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000 Depending on experience
